Not everyday chicken... sometimes Turkey


As Nigerians we all the traditional fish or chicken stew, but has anyone ever tried cooking turkey stew?

Turkey is a high source of protein, iron and vitamin B6 but apart from the health benefits it has a beautiful taste and very easy to cook. now you can't cook turkey stew the same way you cook chicken of fish stew; the stew is either meant to be sweet or spicy. You need to pre-season it or do any fancy to it, just keep it short and simple. Here at DeedeesKitchen we believe that the less seasoning, then the more the flavour...but that's not with everything; because turkey has its own smokey/sweet flavour you don't want to add anything else that will over power it or just confuse your pallet.

Now with turkey stew, you are not limited to what you can eat it with. You can have it with white rice, fried rice, plantain, efo riro sometimes I eat it with pounded yam now that's the bomb!
